I Can Feel It Once Again: Peter Forsberg the legend

We develop the concept for a brand video featuring legendary Swedish hockey player Peter Forsberg. We coordinate with his schedule so he can fly from the US to Stockholm. After approving the videomatic with the client, we head out to scout filming locations in Sweden. We find a stylish house on an island, beautiful landscapes of the Stockholm archipelago, and secure a deal with an ice arena in the city. The cinematographer chooses Arri Ultra Prime, Master Prime, and Alura Zoom lenses for the shoot. We assemble a RED Helium 8K camera system on a Black Arm + DJI Ronin 2 for boat shots on the water, and we also use a drone for filming in downtown Stockholm. For dynamic shots, we film a close-up of the speedometer, accelerating the boat to 51 knots. Besides key scenes on the water, we capture atmospheric shots of Forsberg in the ice arena, locker room, and on the ice. We ask Peter to shout emotionally into the camera several times. For a «memory» effect, we use a clear filter with petroleum jelly. Special attention is given to recording the sound of the engines. We create the copy and record the voice-over with Peter Forsberg at the Apear recording studio in central Stockholm. We license NHL archives, purchase several stock footage clips, compose music for the video, and do the sound design.
