Tasks

Increase the popularity of drifting in the country and boost sales of sports broadcasts on the RDS TV platform.

Approach to production

An unprecedented level of access granted to the film crew allowed for continuous script adjustments during all stages of production to dramatize the events.

IMPLEMENTATION

205 terabytes of material! We are recording 103 interviews in studios and at 8 of the best racetracks in the country: from Red Ring in Krasnoyarsk to Igora Drive in St. Petersburg, featuring drivers, managers, executives, mechanics, judges, and even a truck driver. We use Motion Control, Russian Arm, 360 Spinner, macro shooting with Laowa, hyperlapses, fly-on-the-wall technique, and drilling camera shots. We conduct multichannel audio recordings of all RDS race cars. We are creating 15 hours of soundtrack, animating collages for the opening sequence, and using media library photos in CG timelines. We dramatize events in editing, making 1000 cuts in one episode, and perform excellent color correction and sound mixing in international formats for cinemas and platforms.
